1. Message from Zamri...
======================================================
Dear Colleague,
Welcome to our new subscribers and Good Monday everyone !
How are you doing today ?Happy Father's
Day !
I guess I need it too... I've been a father to my kids for more
than 4 years now. It has been challenging but it has been
worthwhile.
I see my kids grow everyday... sure, I had a feeling like - not
having kids is 'freedom'. My wife and I could go anywhere we
wanted and not worried about anything else except the two of us.
But now, I just couldn't think about not having my kids around.
I've been far from my kids for a few times because of my work
and other responsibilities. I felt the emptiness inside me,
"like life is not so perfect without them". Having them around me
is more fun and joyful. Seeing them laugh, play with their toys
makes me think how I was like when I was at their ages. Was I
like them ? Was I a naughty small boy ? <smile>
Anyway, Happy Father's Day again !
Now, let's get back to what I have today...
1. First, if you are new to network marketing, I have a special
article from David Ledoux called "Never Take Your Eyes Off The
Horizon". I encourage you to read it. Even if you're a seasoned
network marketer, it does not hurt to remind you that this is
what a new fellow feels when he or she discovers network
marketing business. Probably, what David went through might
relate to your own early experience too. If you like his article,
you can go to his website below and subscribe to his newsletter.

2. I've been introduced to a new software called Spam Terminator.
It is a software to block unwanted emails from reaching your
mailbox. It's creator, Michael Glaspie is one of the top network
marketers on the internet and that's the reason why I don't
hesitate to give it a try. It also has its own viral marketing
life. Every time you are spammed, the software will block the
emails and the software will send a notice informing them of
the spam. It then offers them to use the software (with your
referral ID in it). That's for me is 'cool' since I receive many
spams everyday and I don't have time to scrutinize and delete
all bad emails. It is great since it markets the product on your
behalf too - automatically. Now, I've been testing this software
for quite some time and I'd like you to help me evaluate this
software too. Go to my website below and give it a try for 30
days. Trial is free. Then, let me know what you think about it.
Oh... by the way, it has nice pay plan for promoting the
software. Check it out at the website.

3. I'm officially opening a new link to you. Check it out at
http://www.mlmlessons.com and click on
'Archives'. You'll be
asked a username and a password. Use the info below to access
it.
username : mlmlessons

In there, you can find previous articles that I have published.
The latest newsletter might or might not get in on the day it
is published, but I can reassure you that it will appear on the
website before the next available newsletter.
Ignore the 'FREE' link as of now. That is our future expansion
in order to provide you a better service.
Until next week, have a good day !
Warm regards,

'Never Take Your Eyes Off The
Horizon...'
by David Ledoux
There is something life-altering about leaping from
a perfectly good airplane with 12 lbs. of silk and
string tied to your back while flying at 10,000 feet.
Like many other enthusiastic hobbyists, I fondly recall
my first experience with skydiving. It was about ten
years ago when I was in the Northwest Territories in
Canada. I went through the standard lecturers and
trainings from experienced teachers, but nothing can
prepare you for the initial terror of crawling out on
the wheel of a tiny airplane about the size of a Mercedes.
The first blast of air that hits you at 120 miles an
hour wakes you up to the reality that you are two miles
above the Earth, preparing to jump. You take a deep breath,
hang from the wingstrut, smile nervously at your teacher,
and release your grasp.
The first moments of anything new can be unsettling, and
leaping from 10,000 feet is no exception. You feel the
sensation of weightlessness as you remember to do as
you were instructed. 'Arch! Arch!' You silently scream
to yourself as a dizzying, spinning blur comes into view.
Your senses begin to realize that the twirling blue line
is where the ground and sky meet. You recall your
instructor's words, 'Never take your eyes off the horizon.'
As you crane your neck to stay focused on one spot the
world stops spinning out of control. You stabilize and
begin to enjoy the momentum of freefall, plummeting
earthward at over 100 miles an hour.
Believe it or not, it takes a full 45 seconds to free-fall
a vertical mile. After the chaotic first few seconds, you
have what seem like a lifetime to ponder, internalize and
enjoy life before your altimeter reminds you to throw your
pilot chute.
While screaming down at 100 miles an hour you calmly
reach down to your belt, grab a 2 foot square of silk
and toss it into the air with the hopes that the drag
caused by the pilot pulls your larger, life-saving
chute open.
You count silently to 5 and feel the welcome tug as
your chute fills with air and you peacefully glide
down to earth!
Building your networking business is a lot like
skydiving for the first time. People tell you how to
do it, you read about it, you watch others do it, but
there is still incredible apprehension in attempting
it for the first time. Family and friends try to tell
you you're crazy. 'What if you fail?', they cry. The
last seconds before you take the plunge are filled
with self-doubts. 'What if I really do screw-up?'
You finally work up the courage to leap, only to find
your world spinning out of control moments later in
unfamiliar surroundings. Panic sets in, and unless you
take control of your situation you'll quickly give up,
merely another statistic of failed networkers.
What is the solution?
Focus your entire being on your desired outcome and
ignore the distractions. Pick that one spot on the
horizon that represents your goals, dreams and
aspirations and stay focused no matter what.
Watch as the annoying, spinning distractions drop
away and life comes under your control once again.
Feel yourself and your business accelerate towards
breathtaking momentum. Notice the onlookers on the
ground cheering you on.
Enjoy the excitement!
Continue the ride until your trusty altimeter tells
you it's time to prepare for a soft landing.
The parachute called 'Time and Financial Freedom' is
what turns an exciting ride into a life-changing one!
Passive income is one of the true rewards of a
successful networking career. Nothing worth having
in life comes without effort.
It takes the same courage to leap from an airplane as
it does to make a life-altering decision to take control
of your financial destiny. Remember that although it
seems like a long and scary journey ahead, in reality
life goes by faster than we ever believed as kids.
The first few chaotic moments will give way to
breathtaking speed and excitement. Squeeze every
moment of opportunity out of life and take nothing
for granted!
Until next time,
David Ledoux

3. ARTICLE - Talking to a Prospect as if to a Friend
=====================================================
Talking to a Prospect as if to a Friend
by Wendy Weiss
While working with a new coaching client, I asked to hear her
sound bite. Everyone needs a good sound bite. A sound bite,
sometimes also called an "elevator speech," is a 10- to
15-second commercial on what your company does, offers or
stands for. Use it when you meet someone new in business, use
it at networking meetings, and use it on the telephone as part
of your introductory calling script.
Here is the sound bite from my client:
Client: We offer complete marketing solutions.
Wendy: (With eyes glazing over.) Huh?
The idea behind the sound bite or elevator speech is to
communicate clearly, easily and effectively what you do and
why someone else should be interested in what you do.
I asked my client, if a friend asked her to explain what she
does, would the answer be "complete marketing solutions"?
Probably not. And there's your litmus test. If a phrase would
make a friend think you'd suddenly lost your mind, don't use
it in a conversation with a prospect! Most likely, it sounds
artificial and probably doesn't actually mean anything. That
same phrase may be fine in writing, for your brochure or web
site, but it is not as effective in spoken language, because
written language and spoken language are different.
These differences come into play when you are writing an
introductory calling script. Write your script down the
way that you speak. If your script is in written language,
you will sound phony. Real people do not speak with capital
letters at the start of sentences and periods at the end.
People actually speak more in phrases or fragments, with
pauses and the occasional "ah" or "um..." Write your
introductory calling script with no punctuation and no
capitalization. If there is a point that you particularly
wish to emphasize, underline or highlight it. It is
imperative that you sound real, so you may want to try
talking into a tape recorder, then playing it back and
writing down what you've said.
Try to stay "jargon-free." Every industry has its own jargon,
but you must know and use jargon appropriately. If your prospect
does not understand your industry jargon, then she will not
understand you when you use it! Instead, become conversant with
your prospect's industry jargon-then, she will see you as an
expert who understands her industry and her issues and concerns.
When you are writing your script, keep in mind a particular
individual to whom you will be speaking. Picture this person
as a friend, as someone who is open and receptive to what you
have to say. Speak to that person as you would to a friend,
and not in formal business language taken from your company
brochure.
I have seen perfectly reasonable, articulate human beings
become stiff, formal and uncomfortable while trying to speak
in a manner they believe to be "businesslike." They use
unwieldy phrases like "complete marketing solutions," because
someone told them it sounds more professional. It doesn't. If
no one understands what you are talking about, no one will buy
your product or service. Be yourself, and speak as you would
to a friend. Remember your litmus test: Do not include anything
in your introductory calling script that would make a friend
raise an eyebrow.
The very definition of an introductory call is that you are
talking to a stranger. You are telling your story to someone
who knows nothing about you, your company and your product or
service. You must be clear. For the ultimate test, before you
get on the telephone, try role-playing your script with an
eight- or nine-year-old. If that kid does not understand what
you are talking about-no one else will either.
