1. Message from Zamri...

Dear Colleague,
Welcome to our new subscribers and Good Monday everyone !
How are you doing today ?
Sunday, 31st August 2003 marked
the 46th year my country,
Malaysia celebrated its Independence Day. I'm so proud that
we have tasted the sweetness of Independence for almost five
decades now.
The day was filled with joy and celebration. In fact it was
the most spectacular National Day ever with the largest
parade being held at Putrajaya, Kuala Lumpur.
Although I was born way after the 'fight' to get independence,
I can still remember all the stories my father told me.
Life was not as good as it is now. People were living in fear.
Food was so scarce that a grab of rice could be traded with
gold (well, probably gold was not even so valuable at that
time. Life was and still is).
Looking back at the life that we're having now, I feel so
blessed. I can do what I want. I can go where I wish, and no
one will point guns at me.
With all my heart, I know that there are not enough words to
describe the courage and sacrifices our true warriors and
leaders show. Without them, a free country would have never
been born.
Now, I also know that some of you are somehow 'fighting' for
another independence. Call it financial independence or call
it freedom of life, through Network Marketing.
You know that the concept of Network Marketing is so powerful
that it can bring you that 'independence' for generations to
come (did I say generations?).
But, if you say that who are you to move a huge mountain, look
back at the leaders of your country and study what they had
done to you to make sure you live in harmony and without fear.
They had all the guts and courage to fight for YOU. They
had a vision to make sure their future generations would
be a nation they could be proud of.
Did they get the independence they were looking for?
Some did. Some did not.
Nevertheless, their fight will always be remembered.
The same story goes to you. If you are a leader, who do you
think first?
Is it you?
Or, is it the person who you sponsored last week?
Pay it forward. Put all your time and efforts to grow the
person you sponsored.
Make sure that he knows you will help him materialize his
dreams.
Make sure that he knows you care for his success.
Make sure that he knows you will be there for him in good
or bad times.
Someday, your seed will grow.
If that seed grows to be a big oak tree, you know that you
have done you job well. Your work is now a done deal.
If that seed dies on its way to reach the first sunshine,
you know that you have done the best you could. You'll have
no regret in your heart.
Either way, you'll thank yourself you did what you had to
do.
Your fight will always be remembered.

"The Presentation Begins When The Prospect Says No"

Tired of poor prospecting results?
Frustrated with prospects who say "No" to looking at
your business offer?
Here's a simple four-step Specific Language(tm)
system for converting a "No" to a "Yes."
Step 1. Test For Receptivity
You accomplish this with a qualifying question. Here
are some examples:
"Would you like to earn some extra money aside from
what you're doing now?"
"If I could show you a way to have a money-making
business working from home, would you be interested?"
"Would you like for me to show you a way a lot of
people I'm working with are achieving their financial
dreams as a result of starting a part-time business?"
Step 2. Bring Resistance To The Surface
When the prospect responds with "No" ("not interested,
not now, not for me," etc.), ask this question:
"May I ask why?"
Step 3. Support Your Prospect's Concern
When your prospect gives you his/her objection, endear
them to you by supporting what they say with language
like...
"I understand what you mean."
"That's no problem. This may not be for you."
"I wouldn't want you doing something you were
uncomfortable doing."
Step 4. Adjust And Test For Receptivity Again
Incorporate the objection in with your qualifying question
and ask it again. For example, suppose your prospect tells
you he has no time to do network marketing.
You respond with...
"That's no problem. This may not be for you. Let me ask
you something before I leave. If I can show you a way
that you can actually have MORE free time than you do
now AND more money by partnering with me in business,
would you be interested?"
Most of the time your prospect will either say "Yes" or ask
how can you actually do that. Both responses will lead to a
presentation by you.
This is just one of many ways to convert a "No" response
into a "Yes" commitment. It's all in the language.
If you know what to say, when to say it and how to say it,
a negative response from a prospect is no big deal. In fact,
it can become the springboard to a full blown business
explanation and demonstration.

Did you realize that writing and publishing articles online
represents one of the best-kept website traffic secrets?
It's true! In fact, if you learn some basic principles, you
can drive thousands of visitors to your website without
spending any money on advertising.
But, beware! My experience as a syndicated newspaper
columnist has shown me that people who would otherwise
succeed massively promoting with articles actually fail
because they consistently make one or more of these five
critical mistakes!
Mistake #1 - NOT Defining Your Target Audience
Many article authors make the serious mistake of not clearly
defining a niche audience before writing their article.
Successful article authors always know the exact "niche"
audience they want to reach before they write the first word.
When targeting your audience, remember this rule: Narrow and
Deep! Always pick an audience with a specific, pressing, or
major interest in a narrow topic!
Mistake #2 - Spamming Ezine Editors
In their desire to cover as much ground as possible, many
article authors resort to spam techniques for submitting
their articles. Instead of tightly targeting appropriate
ezines that cater specifically to their audience, these
authors try to hit "everyone."
By trying to save time, they actually waste every minute
spent writing their article because most ezine editors
will just delete their submissions as spam!
Mistake #3 - Milktoast Topics
You can write the best article in the world, but if your
headline doesn't grab a reader's eyeballs and pull them
into your article - you lose!
Article authors should spend at least half as much time
writing the headline as they spend writing their actual
article.
In fact, an "average" article can get superior results
simply from having a great headline at the beginning.
Mistake #4 - "What's In It For Me"
If they manage to make it past the first 3 pitfalls, many
article authors trip on their shoelaces at this stage of
the process! Don't write about what you want to write about,
only write on topics of high interest to your target audience.
In other words, give them exactly what they want and they
will love you. Nobody cares how much of an expert you rate
on a particular topic until they know you can deliver
information they need in a way they can use - now!
Mistake #5 - "No Shoe Polish"
You could write an article worthy of the front page of the
Wall Street Journal, but as soon as somebody spots a typo
or misspelling, they immediately put your article lower
than a Sunday sales circular.
Seriously, if you want to undermine all the good you can
do with a great article, send it out without proper
spell-checking!
No matter what product or service you sell, once you
understand the promotion power of free articles, you'll
never look at website traffic generation the same way.
But remember, if you abuse the power, spam ezine editors,
or blatantly pitch people instead of providing real
information, you might as well skip the whole process
altogether.
